2014 Kawasaki Teryx4 LE First Look

Kawasaki pulled the wraps off of its latest addition to the Teryx line of side-by-sides, the 2014 Teryx4 LE. This special LE model adds upgrades to the engine and suspension along with model specific hardware and colors.

The Teryx4 LE now boasts a more powerful 800-class V-Twin that puts out 8% more power and 10% more torque. A new larger 783cc displacement bumps up the low- to mid-range grunt of the LE model. The additional cubes are achieved through a 3mm longer stroke. The compression ratio has been raised from 9.3:1 to 10.7:1. Kawasaki’s engineers also optimized the camshaft profiles and retooled the exhaust headers to produce more power. Team Green also claims better fuel economy and fuel range from the 2014 model.

Fox Podium coil-over shocks now grace the Teryx4 LE’s four-wheel independent suspension. Featuring piggyback reservoirs, spring preload adjustment and 24-way compression damping, Kawasaki and Fox have tailored these new suspension components to provide comfort for four-passenger cruising to bump absorption when ripping with a single passenger or solo.
Styling touches such as the premium Candy-colored Lime Green or Burnt Orange automotive quality paint, color matched a-arms and three-tone high-back bucket seats set the 2014 Teryx4 LE apart from it counterparts. A cab roof/sun top is standard with the LE package as are new high intensity LED headlights.

The 2014 Kawasaki Teryx4 LE will have a price tag of $16,999.
